Non-contact level transmitter
ELL Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter is an instrument that operates with sonar ranging theory and "Microvibration analysis technology".Sensor of the level transmitter will not contact liguid and gas inside container,thus it is not necessary to drill or install flanges on containers,as well as tank cleaning or any operation with flame.As an isolate instrument of real meaning,installation and maintenance of the product could be completed on site quickly.
ELL Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter is an intelligent on site instrument with transmitting function.Transmitter of the product shall be installed beside the container and sensor shall be installed beside the container and sensor shall be installed on wall of the container. Measurement will be accomplished by echo in liquid formed from sonar signals through wall of the container thatbeing sent and received by sensor.

Application
-First choice of level measurement for tanks-Best solution for technical transformation projects
Installation of the Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter requires no drilling, no tank cleaning, no flame, and sensor of the meter will not contact liquid and gas inside the tank. Hence measurement will not be affected by dielectricconstant, fluctuation,pressure, temperature, density or other fact of the medium. The unique“Micro vibration analysis technology" together with "auto calibration" technology and "small blind zone" technology enable the product steadily provide high accuracy measurement result.
Measurement result of horn shaped radar level transmitter will be affected by dielectric constant and show false level, also vaporization and diffuse reflection on surface of liquid may cause "electromag-netic wave failure", which will lead to inaccurate or no measurement result. Rope of guided wave radar level transmitter may broken by fluctuation caused from liquid inlet. For servo level transmitter, a tube to steady fluctuation is always needed to be installed inside the container. During operation, float stuck or steel wire wear is common problem for servo level transmitter, which will cause inconvenience and high cost maintenance. Normally content of spherical tanks are liquefied gas, its liquid level is in dynamic balance between liquid and gas, thus advantage of high accuracy for servo level transmitter is difficult to be shown in this case.
Pressure, temperature and density change of the medium will affect accuracy and stability of double flange level meter. Pressure tube of double fange level meter may also be blocked and caused inaccurate level measurement results. Magnetic float level meter is working with connection pipe. However, pressure and temperature in container will be different with pressure and temperature in connection pipe, which will cause measurement error. This kind of level meter is also with frequent problem e.g. severe fluctuation or float stuck. During measurement of strong corrosive mediums, double flange level meter, magnetic float level meter, radio frequency admittance, servo level meter or radar level meter may damaged easily. Repair process for these level meters is not easy, what is worse, it always comes up with high cost.
Normally, radar level meter shall be installed on top of the container. It measures by subtracting electromagnetic wave measured height from the total height of the container. However, since it is a kind of indirect measurement, stress deformation of the container may affect accuracy of indirect measurement like this. Besides, in measurement of floating roof tanks, radar or servo level meter will need to install a draft tube from top of floating roof to bottom of the tank in general, which means there will be evaporation losses even with sealing device.

1,There is a small blind zone exists for Sonar Non-contact Level Transmitter,hence
when liquid level is lower than lower limitation of the instrument will show "L0"(specific display content is related with setting of the instrument)instead of the real liquid level.

3,Analog output wire and circuit of the instrument is isolated with 750V voltage.Analog output wire and DC24V power wire is isolated with an isolating voltage higher than 1500V.Standard load of analog outputis 250Ω,and the maximum load shall be 1000Ω.
4,Magnetic rings on sensors were made of strong magnetism material by interal modeling,which could ensure magnetic force on wall of container is larger than 80kg,thus installation of the sensors are more reliable than similar products.If the container is not applicable for magnetic sensors.please choose other way of installation including adhesion or weiding according to actual conditions.
